About Lisa

Born in western New York and raised in Marietta, GA, Lisa has always had a passion for writing, beginning with the books she wrote and illustrated as a child and continuing with her high school and university newspapers. After getting her degree in Journalism, she moved to Central Florida and worked at an advertising agency before starting a family and later, her own advertising and event planning businesses.

After raising her children and finding herself back in the workforce, Lisa had a stint as a concierge at a luxury hotel before turning back to her love of writing, particularly writing screenplays. Some of the highlights of her screenwriting education include attending a Robert McKee ‘Story” seminar, and a Screenwriter Summit with Syd Field, Michael Hague, John Truby, and Linda Seger. Now with several produced credits, Lisa finds herself drawn to thrillers and romantic comedies with strong female protagonists who don’t need to be rescued, thank you, they will save themselves.

Lisa has written movies that have been filmed in both the U.S. and U.K. Her movies have screened in theaters, as well as streaming on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, YouTube, Sling TV, and more. You can find her work listed on Imdb as well as new scripts listed on Inktip.
